- Class III (underbite) – Lower front teeth that excessively overlap upper teeth.
- Crossbite – Some or all of the upper teeth are positioned inside the lower teeth when the jaw is shut.
- Open bite – Upper and lower front teeth do not meet in the middle.
- Misplaced midline – The midline of the upper and lower teeth does not match up.
- Over jet – The upper front teeth project outward. Commonly called “buck teeth.”
